Eine canonical-Annotation drückt eine bevorzugte URL für doppelte oder ähnliche Inhalte aus. Dieser Prüfer extrahiert Linkelemente aus dem HTML einer Seite und zeigt die ursprüngliche Href neben dem aufgelösten Ziel an.
Bei dem Bericht handelt es sich um eine Quellenprüfung, nicht um ein Urteil zur Indexierbarkeit. Die Platzierung in einem gültigen Kopf, HTTP-Link-Headern, JavaScript-Änderungen oder dem von Google ausgewählten canonical wird nicht überprüft.
Resolve the value, then review the intent
1. Inspect the page. Enter its public URL. If fetching is refused, paste the page source and supply the URL it came from. The URL check resolves relative values against the final fetched URL.
2. Compare declarations. Read the original href and resolved destination together. A different destination may be intentional for duplicate content; a matching destination is self-referencing. Neither result proves what is indexed.
3. Fix and recheck. Choose the intended representative page, keep one canonical annotation in a valid HTML head, and check the published source again. Inspect the destination separately before relying on it.
A relative path can be valid and still be worth replacing
On https://example.com/shop/item?ref=email, the value /shop/item resolves to https://example.com/shop/item. If that is the intended preferred page, publish the absolute value:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://example.com/shop/item">
A base href can change how a relative path resolves. Review the resolution base in the report before changing the tag.
Keep declarations separate from search-engine decisions
A declaration expresses a preference. A redirect changes where a request ends. Google’s indexed choice requires separate evidence from Search Console. Read Google’s canonical guidance before changing your implementation.
