Website Tracking Checker
Try
Scan page code for GTM, GA4, ad pixels and consent configuration. Identify signals to investigate, then verify actual event delivery with GTM Preview and your analytics debugging tools.
Every tracking check comes from the page code
The checker reads the page HTML and the Google Tag Manager containers it loads, then scores what it finds on a fixed 100-point ledger.
Tag managers
Google Tag Manager containers — including ones behind a custom loader — plus Adobe and Tealium tags.
Analytics and ad pixels
GA4, Google Ads, Floodlight, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snap, X, Reddit, Microsoft UET and more, with their IDs.
Server-side tagging
server_container_url, transport_url and first-party GTM loaders, with a check that the server container answers.
Consent
22 consent platforms, Google Consent Mode v2 defaults, and ad pixels hard-coded outside the banner.
Ad-blocker exposure
Which trackers call a third-party domain from the browser — the requests ad blockers and tracking prevention drop.
Cookie lifetime
The cookie each tracker asks for and how long Safari keeps it when a script writes it.
How it works
From URL to fix list in one scan
01
Fetch the page HTML
The page is fetched through SearchVector’s extractor, the way a first-time visitor’s browser receives it.
02
Open every container
Each GTM container the page loads is opened, so tags configured inside GTM count — not just the snippet.
03
Follow each hit
Every tracker is traced to where its data goes: straight to the vendor, or through your server container.
04
Score and prioritise
Nine checks add up to 100 points, and every finding carries the snippet of code it came from.
